A softer way to make progress

One clear intention. One protected stretch of time.

Tomatoid keeps the useful part of Pomodoro—the boundary around your attention—and leaves out the pressure. Start with long focus, or choose a rhythm that fits the work in front of you.

01

Name the work

An intention gives the session a gentle edge without turning Tomatoid into a task manager.

02

Protect the time

Start in one click. If something else appears, park the thought without pausing your focus.

03

Choose the next step

At zero, you decide whether to stop, extend, keep flowing, or take a real break.

From a quick reset to deep work.

Good to know

A few calm answers.

What is the Pomodoro Technique?

It is a simple rhythm of focused work followed by a deliberate break. The classic version uses 25 minutes of focus and 5 minutes of rest.

Does Tomatoid need an account?

No. The timer, settings, parked thoughts, and history work locally on your device without an account.

Will the timer stay accurate in a background tab?

Yes. Tomatoid derives the remaining time from saved timestamps instead of trusting a background interval, then reconciles when you return.

Do breaks begin automatically?

Never. When a timer ends, Tomatoid waits for you to finish, extend, continue, or start the suggested next phase.
